There is a reason King Charles left the door open for Harry to reconcile but shut it for Meghan

Prince Harry is slated to return to the UK for the Invictus Games in less than a fortnight, and King Charles has "left the door open" for an in-person meeting with the possibility of "reconciling."

While Harry is set to return home, Meghan will most likely not be coming with him. Instead, she will be staying back home with their children, Archie and Lilibet, in Montecito, California.

This would be one strong reason why Meghan wouldn't be invited to the in-person meeting with Charles.

However, even if she was coming, the king may not welcome her presence in fear she would "overshadow the message of the service."

Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams told The Sun that while Charles may be open to meeting with Harry, it doesn't mean he'll get a "warm reception."
