Meghan Markle and Prince Harry do not use the title Earl of Dumbarton for their son Prince Archie, which he was reportedly entitled to when he was born as he is the son of a Duke.  Archie is celebrating his fifth birthday today, May 6, and while he and little sister Princess Lilibet initially did not have royal titles when they were born they inherited them after their grandfather King Charles became monarch.  In March 2023 a Sussex spokesperson said in a statement: "I can confirm that Princess Lilibet Diana was christened on Friday, March 3 by the Archbishop of Los Angeles, the Rev John Taylor."  This confirmed they had decided to let Archie and Lilibet use the titles Prince and Princess, with the Royal Family website later updated to reflect these changes. Royal historian Carolyn Harris previously told Town & Country magazine: "Archie will be able to use the title of HRH Prince when Charles becomes King, but it is possible that he will not use this title.

Queen Camilla harbors reservations about Prince Harry, as she does not allow him to be alone with King Charles, a royal author has claimed.  The Duke of Sussex's relationship with members of the royal family has deteriorated in recent years following a series of explosive revelations.
