King Charles finally meets Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet

Prince Harry is hoping to get King Charles meet his children during his upcoming return to the UK.

The Duke of Sussex is set to visit his home country in May to attend a St. Paul’s Cathedral service to mark 10th anniversary of Invictus Games. In a copy of schedule obtained by the Daily Express, Meghan Markle is also listed as a guest, however, her name has been pencilled as TBC, i.e., to be confirmed.

A source revealed to the outlet that the Spare author is hoping his wife joins him on his upcoming trip so his ailing father could finally meet their two kids Prince Archie, 4, and Princess Lilibet, 2. “Harry is hoping that [the kids] will join him so that they can all enjoy the service, and everyone can meet up with members of his family while they are over.”

“Charles and Camilla have very good relationships with their other grandchildren, and everyone is keen for them to have a stronger bond with Archie and Lily,” the insider continued. “Both Harry and Meghan are keen for the children to become closer with Harry’s family, but she’s very anxious about returning to England,” they added.

The 75-year-old monarch, who is currently undergoing cancer treatment, has rarely met his grandchildren. Though Harry and Meghan were still part of the royal family when Archie was born; Charles only met Lilibet for the first and last time when the family travelled to London for the Platinum Jubilee of the late Queen Elizabeth II in June 2022.
