“It’s Like a Bad Divorce”: Losing Michael Jordan X Travis Scott Prized Possession, Top NBA Draft Starlet Pokes Fun at Relationship With Brother

The 2023 NBA Draft saw history being created as the league welcomed a remarkable duo into its ranks. Twin brothers, Amen and Ausar Thompson became the first set of brothers to be among the top five picks in the draft.

However, the post-draft interview revealed a humorous yet relatable situation between the twins, as Amen Thompson joked about losing his prized Michael Jordan possession. The twins played at Overtime Elite after skipping college and have consistently impressed scouts and analysts with their skills.

Now, they’ll be going their separate ways as they enter the NBA. The battle over prized possessions between the Thompson brothers has quickly become a hot topic of discussion among fans. It seems that shoes, particularly a coveted pair of Jordan x Travis Scott sneakers, have become the epicenter of this fun conversation.

In an interview with ESPN, the interviewer asked about the key items they were fighting for, “And look, I understand that you guys are having to divide up your belongings because this will be the first time that you ever live separately.

So what are like the key items that you’re fighting over in terms of like, you know, clothes and?” Amen Thompson, with a touch of humor, shed light on the situation by stating, “He got to keep the PS5; I got to buy me one.

That’s the main one so far, but we’ve been fighting over shoes too. These Jordan Travis Scotts. He got those too, so I’m losing everything. It’s like a bad divorce.” The Jordan x Travis Scott sneakers are a highly coveted item among sneaker enthusiasts.

His comment about losing these sneakers to his brother during the process of dividing their belongings is relatable to many siblings who have had to divide their possessions. Nonetheless, the twins will surely be bringing the heat to the league.
